A Living Tradition is developing a number of partnerships with other NGOs

The Black Portraits
The Black Portraits are a collection of remarkable paintings of human rights defenders from many parts of the world who have their faces painted black, because they either are in prison, have been imprisoned, or have been killed because of their courageous work for human rights.  The faces are painted in such a way that the features can be made out even though the faces are completely black. A Living Tradition has been working closely with The Black Portrais developing an education programme to go alongside the exhibitions of the paintings. For more information on The Black Portraits go to theblackportraits.org .

North-east Call to Action on Poverty

Peter Sagar from A Living Tradition performed on Saturday 15th September, at a service of blessing at St Thomas' Haymarket.   This service was for runners taking part in the Great North Run and raising money to combat global poverty,  the following day.
